Streamline Your Real Estate Workflow with SAM's Latest Features
Discover how SAM's recent updates enhance your real estate management, from cleaned-up contact sources to improved message templates.
By Mark Stepp
The latest updates to SAM (Systems Accelerator Manager) are designed to make your real estate workflow more efficient and manageable. These enhancements focus on essential areas that can significantly impact how agents handle contacts, transactions, and communication.
Improved Source Management
One of the notable fixes addresses the Contact Source and Transaction Source fields. Previously, you might have encountered:
- Extra sources in your dropdowns that didn’t belong to your account
- Inconsistencies between Contact Source and Transaction Source
- Your custom Source list not applying fully
Now, if you have a custom Source list set up, it will be consistently applied across all relevant areas, ensuring you only see the sources you’ve defined. Should a contact or transaction already have an outdated source, SAM now automatically updates it to your current Source list, preventing any disruptions in your workflow.
Efficient Contact Management
SAM also introduces a more reliable method for handling unsubscribed contacts. You can:
- Bulk resubscribe: Quickly remove multiple unsubscribed contacts from your list.
- Handle large lists: Efficiently manage thousands of unsubscribed addresses at once, with progress indicators.
- Enhanced dark mode display: Filters are clearer when viewing in dark mode, improving usability.
This means managing your contacts becomes significantly simpler, allowing you to focus on re-engaging clients without worrying about technical barriers.
Message Template Language Settings
Creating communication templates just got easier. You can now set the language of your message templates right from the start, based on how you typically write. This feature allows you to:
- Open new templates in your preferred language.
- Easily update language labels for existing templates without re-translating.
- Keep all communication channels (Email, SMS, Letter, WhatsApp) consistent in language.
This improvement ensures that your messages are correctly formatted and reduces the hassle of translation approvals.
Property Management Enhancements
We've resolved issues related to property deletions, ensuring that when a property is soft-deleted, all related listings, transactions, and projects are similarly handled. Key changes include:
- Soft-deleting a property will now also remove linked records, preventing confusion.
- Permanently deleting a property provides a confirmation warning to prevent accidental loss of data.
This update ensures your database remains clean and relevant, helping you maintain accurate records without any lingering references to deleted entries.
Lead Management Improvements
SAM now differentiates between complete leads and those without necessary contact information. This adjustment means:
- Incomplete leads will not be assigned through round-robin methods, reducing frustration for agents.
- Such leads will instead go to a designated backup owner and can be followed up according to a separate protocol.
This targeted approach streamlines lead management, ensuring agents are only assigned leads they can contact immediately.
Calendar Business Hours Update
Lastly, updates to the calendar feature allow you to see out-of-hours activities without cluttering your workday view. Now, activities scheduled outside of your defined business hours will appear under the 'All Day' section, preserving the focus on your set working hours while still giving you access to important tasks scheduled outside that time.
