Routines and key dates

What this is for

Routines in SAM are workflows triggered by key dates on contacts, properties, listings, or transactions — not arbitrary "day 5 of a sequence."

When to use it

Use when you want listing launch, under-contract, or anniversary follow-up to run consistently — and reschedule automatically when dates slip.

Steps

1. Open Routines and create or edit a Routine.
2. In Routine Setup, select the entity type and key date field (e.g. listing live date, closing date).
3. Add activities and actions: email, SMS, call list, checklist, tags, webhooks.
4. Activate the Routine; SAM schedules work from the key date forward.
